Members > Karen Casciani

Karen Casciani is an artist who enjoys photo-realism;
she utilizes her photographic skills to capture an image, then brings
it to life in an acrylic painting or water color. She is best known for
her use of vibrant color and fine detail, painting flowers is her passion.
This Pittsburgh Pennsylvania native has been re-discovering
her artistic talent and painting skills since health problems forced her
into an early retirement. She is mostly self taught, but studied with
artist and teacher Clint Scott, Pam Hardin, and Gloria Solly. Karen has
been showing her work for the past four years, and has won numerous ribbons
and awards for her acrylic paintings, watercolors, floral designs, and
photographs. Her work has been exhibited at the State Capitol, Arts
Clayton Gallery, Clayton
State College, and many other locations in Henry county. Karen is
currently a member of the Visual Artists Collective of Henry County, President
of the Artists
Guild of Clayton County, and a Vice President of SCAVA.
